AIBI, the Association of Indonesian Business Incubators, was founded in 1996 with 10 members and has grown to over 180 active members as of 2024. This growth reflects the increasing importance and recognition of business incubators in supporting and nurturing entrepreneurship across Indonesia
AIBI's membership includes a diverse range of business incubators. Most members are affiliated with higher education institutions, including both public and private universities. Additionally, the association includes business incubators from the private sector, state-owned enterprises, local governments illustrating a broad spectrum of support for startups across different sectors.
AIBI supports at more than 12.000 startups across Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua being mentored. The incubators provide essential mentorship and resources to these startups, facilitating their growth and contributing to the overall entrepreneurial ecosystem in Indonesia.
